`SODA BUDDI` – SONGS ARRIVE

Not to hurt the ‘Soda Buddi’ personalities (one with thick spectacles) ‘Soda Buddi’ Kannada film with a caption Great Story has completed shooting and audio was released at Kuvempu Kalakshetra on Thursday night.

Dr Shivarajakumar, Sharan, Srinagara Kitty, Ajay Rao were present for audio release. At the audio release wearing spectacles by team members was the special moment.

It is seven months effort for the new team. Sixty days of effort in discussion of story, training for the new team of actors was extended by director Jayaram Mohith. Interesting is that the heroine is ‘Bachchalu Mane Bhagya’ – she peeps into the bath room window and develop love. There is one more heroine daughter of a Bar owner – she is drumstick size fond of chicken. She is given chicken, she gives liquor bottle. For the two the protagonist Utpal admits one in the climax.

The shoot for this film was held at Bengaluru, Goa, Mirazuddin Fort and other places for 31 days. ‘Soda Buddi’ is nick name for those who wear thick spectacles. In this film the hero of the film wears such a spectacle for 15 minutes. Coffee planter U B Uday is investing on the film and protagonist Utpal is his son. Venkatraj Bhat is co producer. The film is slated for release in January.

In three schedules talkie portions were completed by director Jyothi Rao Mohith. Utpal, Sushmita, Anusha, Rangayana Raghu, Achyuth Kumar are in the cast. Harish Nayak is cameraman, Mithun is music composer, Girish is editor, Ramdev handled stunts.

Debutant director Jyothi Rao Mohith has bagged the NACT short film contest award in 2012 for his 20 minutes short film ‘Cinema’.
